Kevin J. Kuhn is the owner and managing member of Kuhn Firm LLC. Kevin has extensive experience in both litigation and transactional areas of the law. On the litigation side, Kevin's twenty-year practice has focused on litigation and appeals in cases involving complex insurance coverage disputes, construction and product defects, commercial disputes and personal injury liability in state and federal courts across the country. On the transactional side, Kevin is often retained to provide counseling to companies and boards of directors on important risk management and insurance issues, prepare commercial contracts and other legal documents and provide representation on important business law issues. Prior to founding Kuhn Firm LLC, Kevin was a Shareholder and Practice Area Chair with Vedder Price P.C. in Chicago, where he practiced for fifteen years.  Kevin is included on the 2012 List of Illinois Super Lawyers. 

John Kuhn is Of Counsel to the firm. John has 28 years of experience as counsel in the litigation, trial and appeal of a wide variety of matters including, but not limited to, professional liability, construction, general liability, automobile liability, Human Rights and insurance coverage and bad faith.  John also has extensive experience in handling real estate closings for both buyers and sellers of residental real estate.  Prior to becoming an attorney, John was an insurance claims executive, holding positions such as House Counsel Office Supervisor for Allstate, Vice President of Claims for Main Insurance, Home Office Claims Director for Reserve Insurance, Vice President of Claims for Montgomery Ward Insurance and Forum Insurance and Vice President of Claims for Illinois Surplus Lines Underwriting Agency.  John is often called upon to serve as an expert on claims handling and bad faith issues.  Prior to joining Kuhn Firm LLC, John was a Shareholder and then Of Counsel to Fedota Childers, P.C. in Chicago, where he practiced for over twenty years.
